Can Felons Travel Out The Country?I am aware that some US visitors with past felony convictions have recently been turned away when attempting to enter Mexico. Unfortunately, no Consulate has the power to grant you entry into Mexican territory if you have a felony conviction, are facing charges, or are a registered sex. Most countries care more about long term stays that require visas than tourist visits. Mexico is well-known for not prohibiting entry to felons.
